Greenline Service Corporation has served the Fredericksburg area for over 70 years. The company was originally founded in 1950 under the name Brown Brothers and Company. The company’s original founders were Raymond Brown, Ashby Brown, and Madeline and Bernard Driver. The original store was located in the city of Fredericksburg and in the late 60’s they moved to their current location on Tidewater Trail just outside Fredericksburg in Spotsylvania County.
The company success is two-fold. Great employees work together to treat the business as their own and they have created a diverse customer base. Greenline also services many markets (residential, commercial, governmental, small, specialty, and large agricultural).
Today, Greenline is owned by Clint Hopkins. Clint Hopkins joined Greenline in 1994 and later purchased his shares from James Lafferty and Frank Hopkins. Clint is a graduate of the University of Kentucky (1994) with an agricultural economics degree.
